The year is 1979 and the international wizarding world is in turmoil. The Dark Lord’s influence has spread across the globe and nowhere is out of his reach.

Hogwarts remains one of the few safe locations. Albus Dumbledore and several members of the renowned Order of the Phoenix reside and teach there, making it a haven for those who wish their children to resist the pull of the century’s most dangerous wizard…or those who wish to appear as if they do.

Hogwarts stands as one of the few institutions that openly opposes the Dark Lord and circulating rumors imply that He Who Must Not Be Named plans to make an example of the school. If the sightings are to be believed, a number of vampires have appeared in the area and this is thought to be the Dark Lord’s doing.

The school’s headmaster strives to maintain a balance between caution and normalcy and takes every step possible to ensure the safety of the students. Classes are held as scheduled, quidditch is as competitive as ever, and the young witches and wizards make allies and enemies among themselves. For the sake of safety, a curfew is in effect so that no student is allowed outside of the castle after dark. However, within the walls of Hogwarts, tension builds between those in support of You Know Who and those who would oppose him. The day when loyalties will be tested may be fast approaching.

Explore the castle grounds as you will and interact with your fellow students. Things change quickly at Hogwarts, so keep an eye on the event post for new developments. Tread cautiously, because you can never quite know what to expect when magic is involved.
