[Omegaverse] College Mistakes (USCANUK) [NC-17]

Matthew Williams^(Alpha)
An Alpha from Canada, Matthew majors in environmental science and forestry. His family is rather liberal on equality between Alphas and omegas. He rooms with Elizabetha in the Alpha dorms.

Arthur Kirkland^(Omega)
A British omega, Arthur's family works in the music industry, and he studies Literature and Mythology. An only child from a family that pushes equality, Arthur tends to be a bit prickly and hard to live with; he shares his dorm with Alfred Jones.

Alfred F. Jones^(Omega)
The only child of the wealthy Jones family, Alfred is a rather hyper omega who suffers from various insecurities pushed on him by his parents displeasure at his status as Omega. He's currently engaged to Ivan Braginsky, and studies Computer sciences and engineering.

After finding both omegas in the school library deep in their heat cycles, Matt finds himself mated to two rather difficult omegas, and breaking rules he'd set for himself, as well as finding himself in a bit deeper then he'd planned on being.

Matthew

When the door opened, Matthew already has a huge smile on his face. "Good evening~" He walked inside the room slowly and closed the door behind him with a soft click. It was nice being here again, comforting; the scent of both of them relaxed him. The first thing he did was take Arthur's hand and bring him towards himself, planting a small kiss to his cheek before moving to do the same with Alfred. He smiled brightly at them and spared a single look of himself in the mirror, just checking his tie was alright, even though he knew it was. "You guys ready to go?" He looked them over, trying to memorize what they were wearing, every detail of them, it felt as if he hadn't seen them in years. His watch read 6:03 "Dinner reservations are at 9, but we are doing something else first, so we should get going."

Arthur

He gave an embarrassed smile, blushing and glancing away when Matthew kissed his hand. It was sweet and kind of cute, but Arthur was not used to such treatment at all and always believed he should not expect it. He still found himself enjoying it though. He glanced back at Alfred, glad to see that the American had had the decency to stash the candy bar away. With an appetite like Alfred’s, it probably wouldn’t ruin his dinner, but Arthur had old fashioned manners and thought it a bit rude. But again, he would do his best to keep the peace and not comment on minor things like that. Especially after Matthew said that dinner was not until nine. Arthur really did not know what they were going to be doing until then. They had not really made any set plans. Movie? Concert? Theatre? Given a window of a little less than three hours, it could only be so many things. He quirked his eyebrows at Matthew expectantly. “So what is the plan, then?”

Alfred

He blushed at the kiss, but smiled at the attention, not bothered nearly as much as Arthur was. He was, however, a little sad he hadn't finished his chocolate bar hearing that dinner wouldn't be for a while longer, but he bit his cheek to keep from making a disappointed sound. He did look forward to spending time with both Matt and Arthur, so the added time was appreciated, and he felt a wave of excitement hit him at the idea of whatever they would be doing before dinner. The hockey game had been fun, but he knew it couldn't be something like that, not with Arthur there and on such a short time limit. He bounced a little, waiting to hear what Matt had in store for them.

Matthew

He smirked at both of them and fingered the tickets for the event he had on his pocket then shook his head and gave them both an innocent look. "It's a surprise, but it is a bit far from here so we have to hurry." He went to each of them again and kissed them once more, this time planting it on the corners of their lips then opened the door again. "We are taking a cab." He stepped out of the room and gestured for them to follow, when the door of their dorm was closed, he grabbed their hands on one side each and started walking towards the exit. When the guard came into view, Matthew just smiled, slightly with an edge and hoped that would send the message of 'yes they are with me, don't say anything'.

Arthur

Arthur could not help but roll his eyes at the way Alfred bounced on his heels, clearly over excited about the night to come. He reminded Arthur of a dog looking forward to a walk, and picturing him with a lease in his mouth was not even difficult. Still, Arthur just smiled and shook his head a little bit. Excitement didn’t hurt anything. He leaned into Matthew’s kiss and wondered what the surprise might be. He had already been to the independent movies with the alpha, and he knew Alfred had gone with him to a hockey game, so those were probably not the night’s entertainment. He wondered what else it might be? Not long enough for an amusement park. And too much time for just a walk. And the cab meant it was nothing on campus. His gears turned as he imagined more possibilities, stepping out of the dorm with the other two and taking the liberty to lock the door behind him. He let his hand be taken by Matthew’s, but it occurred to him that he liked it better when it was just him strolling hand in hand with Matthew. Not so much because he didn’t like Alfred’s company, far from it. But he felt like it drew more attention when both he and Alfred were there with Matthew. An alpha and omega walking were worth an idle glance or a shot of jealousy at most. An alpha with two omegas gathered a bit more attention. Arthur could not help but blush as they walked pass the guard, who, being the lookout for the omega dorm was an omega himself, but a bulkier one, much like Alfred. Arthur could practically taste the judgement, but tried not to think about it.

Alfred

He wasn't sure if he wanted to push to find out what it was, or just enjoy the fact that it was a surprise. No matter if it would be a good one or a bad one, surprises always led to something interesting, so he couldn't help be a little more excited over that. Like Arthur, he leaned into the kiss, and followed the Alpha out of the bedroom, but he was a little more reserved about holding hands. He could tell Arthur was a little embarassed by it, but some part of Alfred still shied away from being seen, he couldn't help it. As much as he liked the feel of holding hands with Matt, of having that physical contact, it was still odd. He pressed a little closer to Matt, and when they made it outside, he blushed and ducked his head a bit, not able to make eye contact. He squeezed Matt's hand, and moved a little closer to him as they walked.

His point was proven, the guard looked at them once, a piercing stare that almost made Matthew stop dead on his tracks. He sometimes forgot omegas could be like that, but of course they could, they could be deadly, they could be everything an Alpha was, and even then they had the advantage, that Alphas would always sought to protect them.
But the guard recognised in Matthew's eyes, the bond he shared with the two omegas, Matthew tried transmitting him the intensity of it, so that it was visible not only to the guard's eyes but to his nose as well. His eyes instantly dropped at that and he didn't say anything at all, for which Matthew was very grateful. As soon as they were out of the line of sight of the guard he let go of their hands even though he kept them closed and sighed, his muscles relaxing a bit.

He kept them quite close but not as much as they walked down the parking lot to the street, and he avoided having to walk beside anyone else in case someone recognized them. They would be safe when they were effectively out of campus, but for now Matthew had to be extra careful.

When they reached the corner, he turned around to face them with an apologetic look on his face. "I'm sorry" He said, almost whispering. "It was proving a point, he wouldn't let me in earlier, and I just didn't want to have any trouble with him later on. He is new at his job though, so he doesn't know either of you."

He blinked, sensing the waves of possessiveness and authority that Matt gave off as they passed the guard and instinctively pressing closer to alpha. It was a weird sense he got from it. He wasn't sure if he liked it or not. Well, that wasn't exactly true. Part of him really liked it. The most omega part of him. The part of him that had always prided on being independent and taking care of himself, though, didn't like that Matthew felt the need to send that sort of signal. It seemed.... more than was necessary.

He was very glad that they made it passed the guard without question or incidence, though. It would not have been a good way to start the night. And Arthur did have to walk passed the guy several times a day. He really didn't want any awkward confrontations, especially since they guy was new. He really didn't want any negative first impressions.

He would have liked to keep hold of Matthew's hand though. Even through the campus, even with others staring at them, he would have liked to have the comfort of that touch. It was worth the embarrassment. But he didn't reach for Matthew's hand again after it was let go, settling for walking beside him out of the campus.

When Matthew stopped them outside of campus and explained his actions, Arthur did feel a little bit better... Not entirely, but a little bit. Something about Matthew showing his alphaness to get an omega to back down didn't sit right with him. He knew he should just keep his mouth shut. But he couldn't. "Or you know.... you could have just explained to him what was going on. Alfred and I would have confirmed everything."

He pressed close to Matt's side and kept his head down, not looking up at the omega standing there judging them- or paying much attention to the way Matthew warded him off. He'd seen his father do the same thing a few times, he didn't agree with it himself, but he knew better then to point those things out. So he walked quietly, head down, eyes on his shoes, and drawing in on himself a little bit. When Matt released his hand, it went into his coat pocket, out of sight.

Alfred looked up as they turned the corner and Matt turned around to talk to them. He managed to shrug offhandedly. He was finding himself less and less worried about who on campus had seen them. Ivan knew, and his parents would likely find out soon enough.

Arthur's idea might have worked, though Alfred wasn't so sure. Even son, he felt this was something he should back Arthur up on, so he nodded when the smaller omega mentioned that both of them would have backed up the claim.

"Doesn't matter much now, does it?" His voice came out a little quiet, "Where are we going?"

He could feel the tenseness and even a bit of anger in both his omegas, especially Arthur, and for a moment, he wasn't sure why. He went over his words to them, and then to the ones he sais to the guard and it slowly sank down on him, and a feeling of dread invaded him. His actions had not meant to imply that he wanted to impose himself like that in any omega.. but he guessed they could have been interpreted that way. He was about to raise his hand and stop a taxi, but instead crossed his arms in front of his chest and looked at both of them meaningfully "I'm sorry. I... didn't realize. That wasn't my best behaviour. I was really annoyed at the way he looked at me earlier, and I really didn't want him to tell you anything when we walked out of there. Next time he sees us, he'll know I'm with you and that you are with me, and I thought that would make things a bit easier you know... I'm sorry It truly was not my intention to get you down. I..." He rubbed the back of his head and sighed heavily then looked around at the night sky for a brief second. "This is... really not the way I meant to start spending this night"

He was flushed, he could feel the warmth spreading over his cheeks, and he knew he was rambling, but he couldn't bring himself to stop. How could he had been so stupid as to think it was okay to act like that. He always prided himself he wasn't some sort of territorial animal like most of the Alphas out there, and yet he came and did this... Right, excellent Matthew.

Arthur wished Alfred would have been more open about his opinion on the matter, rather than meekly shrugging it off and trying to change the subject. Even though Alfred nodded at his words, the other omega seemed to be trying to walk the line so as to avoid conflict. Not that Arthur could blame him – there had already been enough conflict in this relationship. But Arthur himself had always been very opinionated, and he knew this relationship would never work if he felt the need to keep his mouth shut.

At least it seemed that Matthew wasn’t aware of what he had done. Well… he was aware, he just hadn’t given his actions the same thought that Arthur had given them. Though Arthur would be lying if he said he wasn’t attracted to Matthew’s strength and his…alphaness, he was a liberated omega and he didn’t like when alphas used an omega’s natural instincts to manipulate them. He didn’t care for the opposite either, for that matter. He’d known the occasional omega who liked to appeal to an alpha’s natural desire to protect and provide – and then use that to collect gifts and inspire competitiveness and fights with no serious intention to bond or even date. Arthur could not approve.

He listened to Matthew’s explanation and sighed. In truth, Arthur really didn’t want to start things this way either, but it had needed to be said. He had made his point, though, and he did not want to drag the issue out all night. “It’s okay… Just… Keep it in mind in the future, alright? I know that you meant well and you were just trying to convey to him that we’re together, but…” he searched his mind for the best way to explain his feelings. “The guy was just doing his job. And I know how I would feel if an alpha I didn’t even know had done to me what you had just done to him. I’m not mad.” He felt it was very important to convey that last part. “But I just want you to think about it, alright?”

His attempt to change the subject was overlooked, and Al found himself almost backing out of the conversation. He was sure that Arthur was disappointed in him for not voicing his own discomfort with how Matthew had treated the other omega, but it was hard to fight against the things his parents had pushed on him. Even as much as he'd fought them on everything, somethings had to slip through.

He listened to Arthur's scolding, and Matthew's sincere apology. This was all too awkward for Al's tastes. He was ready to get going, to end the subject and move on. But it didn't seem like that would be happening any time soon, so he settled for waiting.
