The Colombian girl nodded, taking another sip of her goblet. She stretched out, bringing her legs up into her chair, and leaned on the table.

"Suddenly, I'm not so hungry as I was before.." She mumbled, looking at her plate of food. She started to pick at it, waiting for the feast to be over. "Meet up at the common room.. Got it." She nodded, looking up at Una. Raising an eyebrow, Valentina smirked. "Why are you smiling behind your goblet~?" She asked, holding back a chuckle.

"So, what classes do you plan to be taking this year, Una?" She asked, crossing her arms across the table. She rested her chin on them, holding back a yawn.

Her smile got a bit bigger, before she shook her head and forced it away. Setting the goblet down, she rested her elbows on the table, and cupped her chin in the palm of one hand. Her fingers tapped at the top of the table for a second, as she thought over all the classes she would be taking this year.

She always made sure her schedule was busy, kept herself busy with as much as she could. “Well, I have all the basics, of course, potions, transfiguration, charms, defense against the dark arts.”

She paused, running her finger along the top of her goblet. “I'm also taking Ancient runes and Arithmancy again. I had thought of maybe signing up for Care Of Magical Creatures again, but being Headgirl will be enough added work, I think.”

Tilting her head a bit, she tipped the goblet a little, then lifted it to take another sip, “What about you? Anything new, or same old classes?”

Valentina nodded, tracing random designs on the table. She looked up at the girl, a smile on her face. "I'm taking Ancient Runes, Divination, and Muggle Studies." She said, sitting up. "Along with the standard classes, too." She added, pushing some hair out of her face.

Valentina looked around, mostly to just look at Gabriel again, but was seemingly scanning the room. "I wonder who else will be in Ancient Runes.." She said to herself, looking back at Una. Valentina chewed on her lip, fixing her robes, and let her hair fall off to one side of her face. 'Boy troubles, they weren't the best.' She thought, stealing another glance at the Portugeuse boy.

Una tried very hard not to sneer at the words 'Muggle Studies'. She'd been almost programmed to do just that. No Kirkland had, or ever would, take a class that focused on the non-magical people. They were beneath her, after all. But then, in light of recent events, she thought, they really wouldn't.

For a second she wondered if she spoke to Professor Slughorn, if she could maybe alter her schedule to include the class. Maybe learn something or other about the part of her heritage she hadn't known existed until this last summer. The thought faded quickly though, as she decided to opt for something a little more covert. Maybe looking over Valentina's homework for the class, or getting a book from the library. That sounded like a plan.

She caught the second look at Gabriel, and wondered how he didn't notice Val's obvious affection. Her gaze flickered over to Arthur, her own brother, then back to Val. Of course, Gabriel didn't notice. He was male, and if Una had learned anything about men from her (half-)brothers, it was that men were dense, and tended to not notice things.

“Not sure, hopefully not anyone annoying. Or useless.” Una finally caught sight of a few of the Professor's finishing their meals. She felt a bit of relief hit her. “Meet you in the common room, in a bit, okay?”

With that as parting, she stood up, and left the table, making her way out to the hall, hoping to catch Professor McGonagall, before the woman made it all the way to her office.

Valentina's smile dropped slightly as she watched Gabriel eat. She stuck out her tongue in slight disgust for the barbaric tendencies.

"Really? Poor thing is getting stabbed even in death.." She shivered, letting out a 'ugh' sound, before turning to look back at Una. She smiled at the girl, nodding at her words. "Common room it is, then." She said, watching her go. She looked back to Gabriel, and then to his plate. "Good thing the animal is dead.. Poor thing." She said, chuckling.

"So, Gabby, have you seen any two people who might be good enough to get a chaser position this year? I'm thinking of having tryouts sometime within the week but haven't really been able to think of anyone who would be.. Acceptable enough for the position." Honestly, she just wanted to strike up a conversation with the Portugeuse man, to talk to him.

How pathetic..
