Here at the Global Asylum, we want our staff and patients to have the best experience possible. Even if that's not what they want.

Name of Character: Francis Bonnefoy
Age of Character: 24
Appearance: A stylish man, likes to be clean and well-dressed whenever possible. Almost always has a he-thinks-it’s-seductive-smile on his face.
Personality: Loves everything, and is not afraid to display his affection in loud and sometimes inappropriate ways. Does not “discriminate” between men or women in his pursuit of them; feels that love is perhaps the most powerful thing on the planet. Hates being dirty, being rejected, and needles.

History: Francis Bonnefoy was born in Paris, France. During his childhood, he found himself living on the streets after his parents passed away. He used the only thing at his disposal to survive- his body. This, along with his traumatic experiences living on the streets, contributed to his fragile mental state.

Mental disorder: Mania, resulting in hypersexuality, insomnia, delusions, hallucinations, and rage
Admittance: Discovered by the police when he was fifteen as living on the streets, was admitted to the asylum shortly after his placement in a foster family.

Name of Character: Feliks Łukasiewicz

Age of Character: 19

Appearance: Somewhat androgynous and well aware of the fact. He is known to occasionally crossdress.

Personality: Very shy around strangers and new places, Feliks tends to hover along the edges of the room and observe before interacting with anyone himself. If directly threatened, he will say his piece and then retreat again. However once he becomes comfortable with a person or setting, his behavior does a 180. He becomes hyperverbal, overly confident, protective, and sometimes outright rude. He’s prone to flights of ideas that could never be carried out in the real world. He often looses interest in his goals halfway through them. He claims the crossdressing is a confidence issue, not a sexual one.

History: Feliks grew up in Warsaw, the only son in a high-society family. All his parents wanted was for him to get married and take over the family business – a high end clothing store. Feliks had more lofty dreams of making it big in the United States. He collected imported American movies and greatly admired the lifestyle portrayed in them. After a particularly nasty fight with his parents, Feliks hastily packed a bag, gathered up his savings and his passport, and proclaimed he was leaving for America. He was halfway across the Atlantic before his parents thought to take the threat seriously. Upon arriving, he discovered he had greatly underestimated the expense of American life and soon found himself overwhelmed. However, he stubbornly refused to seek help from his parents and he burned his travel papers in resolve. Within a week, he was penny-less and living in the streets with nothing but his suitcase. The stress and the things he experienced on those mean streets worsened his pre-existing anxieties.

Mental disorder: Bi-polar, social anxiety

Admittance: After 6 months on his own, the police found Feliks huddled in an abandoned building and unwilling or unable to tell them anything. After being declared mentally unstable, Feliks was brought to the institution.

Name of Character: Elizabeta Héderváry

Age of Character: 22

Appearance: Long brown hair that gets to the waist. Deep pretty green eyes. Likes to wear dresses but doesn't wear them often, she considers them not fitting with the job he has to do and pants are always comfortable. She is 1.60 cm and has a very easy smile.

Personality: She is normally very kind and happy except when something really bothers her. Loves sports and rough activities,, she is quite the tomboy although in the right occasion she can be a very fine lady. She loves yaoi and gay erotic novels. The love of her life is Roderich an Austrian man who according to her plays the most beautiful music in the world.

History: Elizabeta grew up in Budapest, the daughter of a very rich family who only saw her as an object to be married to someone of status. She defied them all, and at some point during her teenage years she cut her hair and stopped dressing as a woman fooling several people. Against the wishes of her father she attended high school and then fled to Germany to finish her education. After meeting Austria her dressing style changed again, being more lady like and she let her hair grow. She became a doctor and is currently studying a masters in Mental disorders at the "Global Asylum".

Position: Student Doctor

Reason for working here: She has a very kind nature, therefore thinks helping others is the best thing she could do. Besides mental disorders and anything related to the brain in general is very interesting for her.

Name of Character: Arthur Kirkland, M.D.

Age of Character: 28

Appearance: His expression is usually stoic and occasionally condescending. Spending any length of time with him may give one the impression that there is something off about him.

Personality: He attempts to maintain a healthy distance from his patients and avoids connecting with them on a personal level. However, he can’t resist being drawn in by certain personalities and this may progress to genuine friendship. He’s got a sadistic streak that he usually keeps under wraps unless he gets off his meds. Collects archaic psychiatric tools, which he claims is only a hobby.

History: Grew up in London and was a patient at a psychiatric hospital himself off and on during his youth. He was diagnosed with delusions and had a propensity towards violence, and as such, he was shuffled around several hospitals. In his mid-teens, his doctors believed they had found the right combination of meds and declared him stable. Due to his circumstances, he had an interest in psychiatry. However, he felt he had too much history in the UK hospital system and so decided to go to med school in America. He was hired on at Global Asylum shortly after completing his residency. He still suffers from occasional delusions and dark moods if overly stressed or if something goes wrong with his meds. He keeps this problem to himself and has so far escaped detection.

Position: Psychiatrist

Reason for working here: Far away from where anyone might have heard about his history of mental illness. Also the job came with room and board (since he was always on call and lived alone) and personal lab space in the basement for research purposes. Arthur keeps his collection there.

Name of Character: Natalya Arlovskaya
Age of Character: 19
Appearance: Natalya is a petite girl, standing only at 5'2"(160 cm). She has a very pretty face, though no one notices, because her expression is almost always cold, and harsh. Her pale coloring, nearly white skin, platinum blonde hair, and light blue eyes, often make her seem ghostly, and this only magnified by her lolita-styled navy blue dress.

Personality: Natalya is a quiet young woman, who comes off to many as a bit of a loner. Despite her pretty face, she has a very harsh and cruel outlook on the world. She often becomes flustered and nervous in crowded situations, and this causes her to go on the defensive, which often results in a violent temper tantrum that may leave those around her injured.

When left alone, Natalya is complacent, and content, often taking more interest in reading books on the occult, or thinking of ways to convince her elder brother that he loves her, as much as she does him. However, when interrupted from these thoughts, she becomes angry, and will lash out at the nearest victim.

When in a good mood, Natalya willing to sit quietly amongst others, and has been known to be polite, if a bit awkward. However, these moments are rare, and her mood is prone to shift erratically.

History: Natalya is the youngest child of the Braginsky family, and by most considered the most to be the least stable. As a child, Natalya was always more violent, and defensive. She also showed an almost frightening attachment to her elder brother, and this was cause for many problems. By the age of six, Natalya was in therapy, and was examined for a multitude of disorders, before being diagnosed with APD(antisocial personality disorder).

During the course of her childhood, she continued with weekly therapy lessons, and was treated with various medications, though they rarely worked. The few that accomplished any sense of normalcy in Natalya's personality, left her listless and emotionless.

Due to the constant strain of dealing with an obviously damaged child, both of Natalya's parents distanced themselves from her, and she found most of her solace with her elder siblings. While she developed a mother-daughter relationship with her sister, her feelings towards her Brother turned obsessive and incestuous. Her behavior towards her siblings has proven to be loving, but has turned violent when Ivan refuses to acknowledge, and return her feelings.

At the age of fifteen, after a week of not taking her meds, Natalya viciously assaulted a girl in her History class, who casually mentioned that Ivan was handsome in a 'creepy sort of way'. Natalya flew into a rage, and stabbed the girl with her pen.

From here, Natalya was institutionalized, as order by a court of law. Her parents, unwilling to have it ever get out that their daughter was as unstable as she was, arranged for all of her records to carry her mother's maiden name, so as to avoid a stain on the family name. As far as the world outside is concerned, Natalya was sent to a foreign boarding school.

Abandoned completely by her parents, and only allowed minimal contact with her siblings, Natalya's behavior escalated, and within the first month of her containment at a Belorussian psychiatric hospital, she attack her attending doctor with a syringe of mephobarbital, swiped from one of the nurses. Natalya was put in solitary confinement, before she was transfered to another institute, and the nurse lost her job due to irresponsibility.

Over the years, Natalya has been moved from one Psychiatric hospital to the next, due to her recurring violent behavior, and refusal to cooperate with the doctors or nurses.

Upon turning 19, she was given a renewed psychiatric evaluation. She showed some improvement, however her willingness to attack any she considered a threat to her imaginary romantic relationship with her elder brother, cause a great deal of concern. When questioned further, she tried to stab the questioning psychiatrist, and it was decided that the minor improvements to her personality were fleeting, and unworthy of consideration.

Still considered a threat to others, and herself, Natalya was transfered to the Global Asylum under her most recent doctor's recommendation, and comes with a long list of warnings and suggestions for the current head of administration, and any attending Psychiatrist willing to take her case.

Mental disorder: Antisocial Personality Disorder, Obessive love
Admittance: Family opted for Institutionalizing her, as an alternative to her to be sent to Juvenile Prison.

Name of Character: Ivan Braginski
Age of Character: 29
Appearance: Standing at an intimidating height of five feet, eleven (and a half) inches and roughly one hundred ninety pounds, Ivan Braginski is frightening at best. He has a sweet, round face that sports a pleasant smile almost all the time. His eyes are a pale violet color, snapping to meet every movement within his line of sight with a stunning speed. He has pale skin, due to having lived most of his life in an extremely cold region where sunshine was rare. He appears to be a heavyset man, due to his affinity for wearing a winter coat that extends to his shins. He constantly wears a pale purple scarf, given to him by his sister long ago. He rarely, if ever, takes that scarf off. Even when going to bed at night, he wraps it around his waist.
Personality: Russia is, in all honesty, a mentally disturbed man. He has a distorted view of affection, finding abuse and violence to be an acceptable way to show that he cares about another person. Not only that, but he loves to see other people in pain because it makes him feel as though he's not in quite as much pain as someone else is; it shows him that for a brief moment in time, someone other than him is in more pain than he is for the majority of his lifetime. Ivan loves flowers, especially sunflowers, and takes up a serious problem with anyone who harms a sunflower. He enjoys warm places and sunshine--he hopes to one day live in a warm area.
History: Ivan Braginski was born to an alcoholic father and a dying mother in Moscow, Russia. His mother had contracted a deadly genetic disease that was passed to the females in her family while she was pregnant with Ivan, and his father did not take well to knowing that his wife was going to die sooner rather than later. Ever since Ivan was an infant, his father had been cruel to him. As his mother became more and more ill, his father drank more and more--as a result, Ivan was abused from such a young age that it quite possibly could have induced brain damage.

Ivan eventually became used to the hits, the punches and the kicks that his father would administer to his body. Sometimes, Ivan would be forced to remove his clothes, and his father would abuse him without the protection of thick coats. The Russian boy had become very tough, losing every trace of positive emotions and most of his ability to identify emotionally with others. When Ivan's mother died, he was six years old. From then on, it was rape. His father was brutal--never sober, always violent. His older sister, Yekaterina, went away to college when he was ten years old. She cried for days, knowing that she wouldn't be able to deter their father any longer from hurting Ivan as much as he tried to. Ivan insisted that he would be fine, and didn't stand down until a year later in a letter. Before Yekaterina left, she gave Ivan a light purple scarf. He treasures it to this day.

Throughout his childhood, Ivan was harassed in a disturbingly romantic manner by his younger sister, Natalia. She was convinced without a doubt that he was going to be her husband. Ivan went off to medical school to study psychiatry and criminal justice before Natalia was sent off to mental hospitals, and he never opened any letters she sent him.
Position: Psychiatrist
Reason for working here: The human mind has always been riveting to Ivan--since his horrific childhood, he has always blindly searched for an answer as to why he was treated the way he was treated by other human beings.

Name of Character: Gilbert "Ghost" Beilschmidt
Age of Character: 22
Appearance: Standing at 5'9", Gilbert isn't nessiarcly short, however, his slim figure often gives the illusion of him being fragile. Add to this the general lack of health that comes from the years he spent on the street, sleeping in alleyways, before earning money through selling and dealing drugs, or working with the Hammerskins, and most people would think he's a easy target for both physical and verbal abuse.
It was his pale skin, white hair, and blood red eyes that gave him his namesake on the streets as a Demon. The added dark circles around his eyes, and general gauntness from drug use, and Gilbert is a ghostly visage.

Personality: Having been ignored by both his class mates and parents as a child left Gilbert with an abnormal need for attention. To get it, he will do anything from screaming and throwing a tantrum, to attacking whomever he thinks is ignoring him.
He's prone to boughts of depression, over his various short comings, and the heavy guilt of his parents thinking he was a bad influence on the only person he ever really cared about.
Gilbert genuinely believes himself to be someone great and amazing, and often feels angry that no one will give him the chance to prove it, causing him to often voice his beliefs. Loudly. Where others can hear him. When he has no one to tell how amazingly awesome he is, he writes it down in the various journals that line his shelves, and are the only truly well-kept items he owns.

History: Gilbert was born in Berlin, to a middle-class family. As a child, Gilbert was often shunned from the other children, due to his physical differences. Most of the children would call him "Ghost" or "Demon", and they actively ignored him, despite his many attempts at attention.

As he grew, Gilbert steadily became louder, and more quick tempered. Not only to get the attention of his classmates, but also to grab his parents eyes. His younger brother, only three years younger than Gilbert, was what many considered the perfect German child.

While Gilbert loved his brother dearly, he couldn't help but resent the attention that was showered on the blond, quiet, obediant child. So, as his behavior worsened, and his parents put distance between themselves and him, Gilbert grew closer to his brother, and no one else.

When he was fifteen, Gilbert overheard his parents talking about sending him away, a boarding school, or military faclility. It was their hope, that doing so, would seperate the brothers, and keep Gilbert from being a bad influence on Ludwig.

Furious at his parents decision, but unwilling to deny that his behavior would evenutally become problematic for his younger brother, Gilbert left home.

He lived on the streets for a long time, his behavior growing worse amongst the harsh treatment of others on the streets. He grew more violent, and more self-obsessed. He was alone there, more than he'd been alone before.

Gilbert moved around a great deal, and became known on the street as the "Demon". He was known for being able to get his hands on the best drugs, and liquor around, and was picked up once or twice for dealing.

His activites were not limited to dealing out drugs. He was also an active member of the Hammerskins chapter in Germany. There, he took on a Nazi-like persona that was highly frowned on by most Germans. It was said that he lead a few attacks on Non-Aryans, though it has never been confirmed, and when asked, Gilbert will vigourously deny any such moves, claiming that he stayed with them, so he could sleep on the couch of the Gang's leader.

Gilbert was twenty when the Berlin chapter of the Hammerskins was dispersed, leaving Gilbert on the streets a second time, alone and unprotected. Officially on his own for the second time, he returned to dealing with drugs.

At twenty-one, Gilbert was picked up for stealing the car of a wealthy politicion. The provided lawyer was greatly bothered by Gilbert's narrisictic personality, and his inability to pay attention during the case, and filed to have the albino evaulated for psychological problems.

Between the evalution given by the court appointed Psychologist, and the evidence gathered from consficated journals, it was decided that Gilbert would be charged with insanity, and placed in a facility that could best deal with him.

Mental disorder: ADHD, Histrionic Personality Disorder, Antisocial personality disorder, Zero Stroke

Name of Character: Wang Yao

Age of Character: 24

Appearance: Yao stands at 5'6" tall, putting him on the shorter end of the height scale. His dark brown, almost black hair is pulled into a ponytail, and hangs loosely over his shoulder, causing him to be mistaken for a girl on occasion. He's quite fit, despite liking to eat larger meals, in part because of all the running around he does to take care of his younger siblings. Physically, he looks completely healthy and strong.

Personality: Yao likes flowers, specifically plum blossoms. He likes to garden, and is always happier during the summer when he can spend more time outside. He likes his siblings too, or, more appropriately, he likes most of them. His half-brother has made Yao nervous for several years, and he doesn't trust him at all.

History: Yao inherited his family's fortune when his mother died while he was still a young teenager. He made the decision to stay in the house, and to take care of his large family. He loved all his siblings, but over time, he started to think that his half brother, wanted to get rid of him, and have the family fortune all to himself. Ever since then, he's been extreamly paranoid whenver he's around his brother. Eventually, Yao attack his brother, thinking he was plotting against him. His brother decided that Yao wasn't fit to take care of their youngest siblings, and had him forcibly placed into a mental health facility.

Mental disorder: Extreme paranoia, usually focused on a specific person.

Admittance: Placed into care by his half-brother.

Name of Character: Lotte van Aldeniek
Age of Character: 27
Appearance: She has blond hair and green eyes, a rather average figure and height.
Personality: A usually cheery girl, she takes very few things seriously, her job included. She enjoys things like singing and cooking, and she’s a bit on the domestic side. She doesn’t really enjoy wasting her time, and she will admit to being impatient. She sees herself as one of the guys, but she doesn’t really mind her lack of stereotypical femininity.
History: She was raised in a pretty normal family, with two brothers and no sisters, which probably explains why she’s such a bro. She did average all throughout high school, and she went to a pretty average college. (Average is the story of Lotte’s life.) She did decently in college, and was accepted to medical school, and she went through her rotating internship completely unsure of what she wanted to do before deciding on psychiatry. The first place she put in her resumé, as well as the first place to offer her a position, was the asylum, and that’s where her story really begins.

Position: Doctor
Reason for working here: Asides from the fact that this was her first job offer, Lotte decided she would rather work at an asylum or hospital than at a clinic, or by herself. She believes that she can be more helpful at an asylum, and help far more people than if she was at a clinic.

Name of Character: Matthew Williams
Age of Character: 22
Appearance: Matt is a thin boy, despite the amount of pancakes he eats. He has silken blond hair that cascades in gentle waves right below his jawline. A single strand of unruly blond hair sticks out from his hairline, hanging over his forehead with a large curl. Matthew has a sweet face, with a timidity about him that cannot be missed. He has wide, violet eyes and clear, creamy skin.
Personality: Matthew is a very gentle man, with a quiet temperament and a very soft-spoken attitude. He hates to be a bother to anyone, and is very polite in general. He loves to make others happy, and has a very sweet demeanor. He is very humble and shy, and could definitely be called a pushover.
History: Matthew Williams grew up with his father, mother and his twin brother, Alfred. Alfred was always the more popular brother, the one with more friends and much more athletic ability. Matt was a very studious boy, preferring to spend time inside with a textbook than be made fun of for being the obvious socially inferior twin. When Alfred started to use unhealthy methods to keep himself thin, it killed Matthew inside. He has always cared so much about his brother, and seeing him in so much pain made him want to cry every day. After his brother admitted that he needed serious help and went off to several different hospitals before landing in Global Asylum, Matthew made a pledge to himself to become a doctor and save people from hurting themselves like his brother did.

Reason for working here: Matthew wants to ~~take care of his brother~~ have a good job at a renowned hospital that will help him finish his training to become a real psychiatrist.

Name of Character: Angelique de Quincy
Age of Character: 18
Appearance: Petite, with caramel colored skin, big amber eyes, and wavy black hair, Angelique has a rather doll-like appearance.
Personality: Shy and a bit nervous at first, Seychelles is generally very cheerful and sweet. She can be a bit naive at times, having grown up very sheltered, but is quick enough to catch on to things. Despite her obvious sweetness, she has a wicked temper, and has been known to put a great many people in their place, though she almost always regrets it.
History: Born on Mahé, the main island in the string of islands known as Seychelles, Angelique grew up caught between her parents, and their constant battles. When she was around at age of nine, her father took her and moved to England, where Angelique grew to hate her father for keeping her away from her mother. The relationship between them grew more and more strained.
By the age of thirteen, they spent most of their time fighting, and avoiding each other. When she was fifteen, she was able to get in contact with her Mother again, and her father and her's fighting escalading, until Angelique ran away from home. She used money saved up from babysitting and odd and end jobs to pay her way to France, where she lived with her mother for a short while, before moving to the States, hoping to find her fortune in the Movies or perhaps as a singer. However, going from a small town in England, from a smaller town in France's countryside, to a big city in America proved to be too much for Angelique.
She was shy, and timid, and unable to preform during her auditions, no matter how much practice she'd done, or how well she could perform on her own. In the end, she did tarot card readings to pay the bills for a short time, but living on such a small amount of money took it's toll on her.
Eventually giving up on the idea of becoming a star, Angelique started to look for work elsewhere, where she found openings at the Global Asylum, and decided to try her luck there. With no formal training, she was able to pass the written tests to work in the kitchens, or work with the very simple cases.
Even so, she tends to get dragged into help with some of the more volatile patients, when they're short on staff.

Position: Nurse-In-Training
Reason for working here: She's in need of a way to support herself, and with her meager amount of medical knowledge she just barely managed to pass the tests required to work at the Asylum. She's useful because of her biligual skills, and is cheery enough to supposedly brighten things for some of the patients.

Name of Character: Lovino Vargas

Age of Character: 23

Appearance: A young man of average height. Dark auburn hair, olive-colored skin, and hazel eyes. He usually wears Italian brand-name clothing and keeps his hair neatly styled except for one stubborn strand.

Personality: A very hot-tempered and stubborn man. He’s wary about exposing his feelings and doesn’t seem to trust a lot of people. He has low self-esteem, but hides his inferiority issues behind a tough front of aggression and profanity. He’s friendlier towards women since he finds them less threatening. He’ll often slack off with any chore he’s given and isn’t very responsible. When he’s more relaxed, he enjoys cooking Italian food, especially pasta, and his favorite pastimes are taking naps and eating tomatoes. He can also play the tambourine.

History: Lovino comes from a prosperous Italian family. His parents died when he was still very young, leaving him and his twin brother, Feliciano, in the care of their grandfather, a powerful CEO with a vast economic empire. When their grandfather passed away, Lovino and his brother were separated, taken in by different guardians that had more interest in the boys’ inheritance than the children themselves. Because of this, the brothers rarely saw each other and became estranged over the years. Lovino’s disobedient and rebellious attitude caused him to be passed around to different caretakers, and his self esteem worsened as he heard those around him praise his brother for his superior talent in art and more likeable personality. Over time, he believed that there was nothing that made him special except for his inheritance, which his guardians constantly fought over. Eventually, he was taken in by the Carriedo family, who treated him kindly despite his reluctance to get close to any of them except his foster brother, Antonio. Though he often fought with Antonio, he also relied on him constantly, and to this day, he is still one of the few people Lovino trusts.

The Carriedo’s lack of discipline had a negative effect on Lovino, unfortunately. His anger was often left unchecked, and the pent-up frustration from his early childhood often spilled out in large outbursts that ended in physical violence or mental breakdowns. He was often sent home for starting fights at school, but shrugged off any scolding he received, knowing that his guardians would always forgive him for anything he’d done. As he became more attached to the Carriedos, his fear of abandonment also intensified; he was determined not to be cast away again. The problem only worsened when Lovino finally entered college and found himself alone in an unfamiliar place, away from his place of security and his main support, Antonio. He suffered through those four years and when he graduated, tried to return home, only to have the Carriedos tell him that it was time for Lovino to become independent. Taking this as a rejection, Lovino ran away and disappeared for three months before he was finally found living on the streets. The Carriedos had no choice but to send him to an institute, hoping it would cure him of his disorders and make him capable of becoming a secure, self-sufficient adult.

Name of Character: Antonio Fernandez Carriedo

Appearance: 1.77 cm tall. Dark brown hair, tanned skin, and green eyes. He likes to keep it simple, usually wearing jeans and t-shirts, and he loves to go barefoot. His hair is often messy, but it makes him look even more handsome. Oftentimes, he also wears a straw hat.

Personality: Normally he is a very cheerful, calm man with a good deal of patience that allows him to deal with difficult matters successfully. He can be arrogant or even violent sometimes, but rarely shows it. He loves tomatoes and cooking, often making dinner for his little adoptive brother, Lovino. His biggest hobbies are playing the guitar and fencing. He has a huge collection of old and new swords in his house which keeps clean and shiny, rarely letting anyone touch them.

History: Antonio comes from the Carriedo family, a relatively wealthy farmer family of Barcelona, Spain. He used to be a very quiet kid and then an extremely problematic teenager, often getting involved in violent riots and protests. His parents noticed he had a morbid fascination with blood and hurting small animals. They sent him to a psychiatrist, and eventually, the behavior lessened a lot, leaving them only with a very rebellious child.

All of this changed when his family became the guardians of Lovino Vargas- overnight, Antonio began smiling more than most and had a cheerful attitude towards life. He started taking cooking lessons because he knew food made Lovino happy. Everything revolved around his little brother now, so much that Antonio found he couldn't be separated from him for too long. At age 18 when it was time for him to go to college, he refused, insisting he would take over the family business and that he wanted to learn how to cultivate tomatoes too- although deep inside he knew he was only doing this to stay with Lovino. Everything was happy for a while until it was his little brother’s turn to go to college. The first year, Antonio suffered from mild depression, sudden anger outbursts, and mood changes. He found refuge in his tomatoes, taking care of them passionately and always going on about what new recipes he had learned that Lovino would love when he was finally home.

The year finally came when Lovino was supposed to be coming back. Antonio went to pick him up at the airport, but Lovino never showed up. Angry and sad, he went back home where his parents told him what they had discussed with Lovino concerning his future outside the house, also telling Antonio that they had done it with his own good in mind, seeing as he was too obsessed with the boy. Antonio saw red then- his anger rose up to such a level that he ended up breaking his father’s arm and throwing his mother down the stairs. He laughed then, looking at the bleeding wound on his mom’s head and going so far as to taste her blood. His father phoned the police, who took him away and charged him for attempted murder in first degree, but his lawyer pleaded not guilty for reason of insanity and won. Antonio avoided jail but was sent to a mental hospital for rehabilitation where he was later diagnosed with a double personality disorder and an obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. After causing a particularly violent riot a few months later, it was decided by his doctor and his parents that he would be transferred to the Global Asylum where specialists would have more control over his situation and where he could be close to the object of his obsession, Lovino.

Name of Character: Peter Kirkland, aka Sealand

Age of Character: 12

Appearance: A slight young boy who looks all together healthy and happy with some scarring here and there.

Personality: Peter is a quiet, jaded, unhappy child. Sealand is a happy, healthy, seemingly friendly, devious, nasty child. He enjoys tormenting and antagonizing people, mostly doctors, but he isn't beneath antagonizing other patients though he's got more bark than bite. Sealand hates taking any type of pill medication, and he's very good at getting out of it. He's been in the system for around seven years, and is very good at bending the rules to suit his wants and desires. Both Peter and Sealand hate fire, or even the smell of smoke. Sealand's worst episodes usually happen when there is either fire or smoke in the area.

History: Peter Kirkland was the only child born to a well-to-do family in Sunderland, England. He was well taken care of, but at a very young age, his parents started to notice strange things about little Peter, or, more accurately, Sealand. Worried about how it would seem, they kept it to themselves and dealt with his problems as best they could. At the age of four, Peter was admitted to a hospital after a rather violent episode. The authorities were alerted by the hospital of suspicious injuries on the young child, and not long after, the child's parents were accused of Child Abuse. At the age of five, Peter's parents were charged, with a very convincing testimony from their young son against them.

From then on, Peter became the ward of the government and was admitted to a local institution for therapy after the alleged abuse. It was only after weeks of constant supervision that doctors started to notice that all was not well with young Peter, or Sealand, as he preferred to be called.

Not long after realizing he was a special case, Peter was moved to an institution better equipped to deal with his potential problems. Peter spent two years there, but after an almost successful suicide attempt, was transferred to another institution with more constant care.

From then on, he was shuffled from various institutions to more prestigious asylums in both England and all over the continent, his longest stay at any of them being only thirteen months. He continued to be moved from place to place for various incidents, including arson, attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon. He escaped jail time due to his array of mental disorders and his age. Only recently has he been moved to Global Asylum as a sort of last resort. If no progress is made by the time he is thirteen, he will be stripped of his mental health status and charged for his crimes.

Name of Character: Wang (James) Hei

Age of Character: 20

Appearance: He has a slight-looking build, and is only about 5'6", so most don't see him as being imposing. The only thing off about his features are his huge eyebrows. Though he doesn't look it at first, Hei is a very muscular young man, and not many mess with him more than once.

Personality: Hei is a quiet person, but this is not to say that he is horribly polite. If given the right opportunity, he can be quite childish, immature and incredibly loud. He's got a lot of quirks, and he's been known to sell the patients snacks and treats they aren't allowed to have when no one is looking. He also loves his laptop and the computer he built more than life itself.

History: Hei grew up in Hong Kong in a very poor family that could not afford to pay for much education for him. Because of this, Hei had a job at a very young age working in a factory, but he was never satisfied with that. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching various Kung Fu movies, trying to learn awesome fighting moves himself and fiddling with the library's computer. One day, a man in charge of a martial arts school noticed him trying to practice and took him under his wing.

Hei was taught the way of Kung Fu, and took to it rather quickly. It wasn't long till he was winning competitions in his area and around China. With all the new fame he had gained, it was no trouble to get a sponsor to send him to school, where he studied computer sciences, the second love of his life.

At the age of 18, he was applying for jobs when he decided that moving from his homeland would be the best opportunity. America seemed the best option despite all of the protest he was getting from his sponsors; he knew English very well, he could make a lot of money, and it wasn't as taxed as Europe. So Hei packed up his things and moved to America.

He adapted quickly to life in the States, and after a while, he noticed a opening for a guard at a very prestigious asylum. Figuring that he would be cut out for the job, he went for it. He was accepted shortly after. After noticing that the asylum's security system was lacking, Hei took it upon himself to rebuild the security program from the ground up. Global Asylum has never been more secure, and it wasn't long till he gained the highest guard position at the institution.

Position: Head security officer and head computer programmer of the institute.
Reason for working here: Because he thought it was something he could do, would pay well, and would house him for super cheap.

Name of Character: Lan Trắc Trưng
Age of Character: 25
Appearance: At roughly 5 feet tall, she does not seem intimidating. She's a bit thin, with very long dark hair and a deep tan. She keeps her hair pulled back in a ponytail at all times. Her eyes are a bit wide, and appear to almost be black.
Personality: Lan is rather polite, but quickly frustrated by others who do not listen to her instruction, or are not polite in return. She is a bit tomboyish; she would rather behave and interact with men than behave as a proper young lady would.
History: Born as a farmer's daughter in Vietnam, she was raised in the countryside, far from the city. She was raised strong, partly due to the use of heavy equipment and the repetitive tasks of farming and thanks to her interest in martial arts, but she was studious. She had an interest in the outside world and other languages to the point that she'd asked her grandparents to teach her French. Her family saw this in her, and decided that it would be in their daughter's best interest to study in a city rather than stay on the farm and let her studious habits go to waste. She first went to Hanoi for a bit of formal study and to learn English, which she caught on to quickly, before being sent to America for more schooling as a "refugee". While in school, she came to realize how much more expensive it was to live in America, so she dropped out (for a bit) to save and work until she has enough to finish her studies and return home to her family.
Position: Security
Reason for working here: It was an open position that paid much better than the maid jobs she was considering, and more demanding, which she appreciated.

Name of Character: Raivis Galante

Age of Character: 18

Appearance: A short boy with curly blonde hair and blue eyes. He usually wears clothes that are a bit too big for him in an attempt not to feel so small as well as large black boots. He especially favors maroon and tan clothing.

Personality: A fairly nervous and shy young man. He can be friendly around those he trusts, but he usually keeps to himself. He has a habit of letting his mouth run ahead of him, often being too honest with what he thinks of people before weighing the consequences his words may have. Even though he is too withdrawn to be very social, he actually dislikes being alone and will often seek company. Despite his young age, he has a liking for alcohol and tends to overindulge when he’s upset. It is, however, a fading habit. When at home or on breaks, he often reads romance novels and poetry.

History: As the youngest child in his family, Raivis grew used to being taken care of by those older and stronger than him. His parents had a messy divorce when he was still very young, and his father’s desertion and mother’s alcoholic problems caused a huge break-up within his family. He was taken away by social services and put into foster care, separated from his siblings. The boy was too young to even remember what they look like. His foster family was neglectful, never taking the time to socialize Raivis properly. As a young boy, he became very withdrawn and was too shy to make many friends at school. Because of his small size and timid demeanor, he was often bullied, and is still easily intimidated to this day, trembling slightly when he gets too nervous.

In high school, his social anxiety problems worsened. He became even more of a target and was harassed to the point where he refused to go to school, cutting classes and pretending to be sick. His foster family did little to help. His foster mother was mostly absent, too busy with her job and other children to attend to Raivis. His foster father lost his job when Raivis was a sophomore. Frustrated and having no one to vent his anger on, the man took it out on his foster son, physically and mentally abusing him. When Raivis finally couldn’t take it anymore, he tried to run away from home, but his foster father tracked him down and committed the most horrible abuse of all- rape. This damaged Raivis so badly that he attempted to commit suicide, but was saved at the last minute by his foster mother.

He was taken away from his foster family and spent the next three years in an institute, struggling to keep up with his studies. The doctors were impressed by Raivis’ resilience. Even though he had suffered from such horrible hardships, he kept pushing himself forward and believing in the power of the institute to cure him, clinging onto that hope and becoming a stronger person because of it. When Raivis was finally released at the age of eighteen, he found himself with many aspirations, but no money to pursue higher education. A nurse from his institute recommended him for a position at the Global Asylum, where his pay would be minimal, but from which he would be granted a scholarship and living accommodations. Raivis leapt at the offer, eager to gain experience and pursue a degree in child psychology. He also hopes his success at his former institute will help him interact with patients and help them recover the way he was able to.

Position: Live-in intern who’s often given odd jobs. His responsibilities include things like bringing the patients their meals, cleaning rooms, and occasionally going on rounds for security. He’s also sent to interact with problem patients who can relate to his experiences and benefit from his company.

Reason for working here: Part of a scholarship agreement. He attends classes at a nearby university and returns to work and sleep at the asylum.

Appearance: A petite woman who is well endowed in the curves area with dark caramel skin, long dark hair and a pretty face.

Personality: Is a very laidback motherly person, but don’t push her, she does own a gun that she keeps in close proximity at all times.

History: Maria grew up poor in Mexico City. When she turned 15 she crossed the American border illegally and for about 4 years after that she worked in the states illegally, usually taking care of the elderly and doing undocumented maid work. When she was 19 one of her elderly clients promised to set her up with a head cooking job at the Global Asylum if she obtained a working visa. It took Maria 3 years, but she got it and just as promised was given the position of head chef at the Asylum, she’s been working and living there ever since.

Name of Character: Tino Väinämöinen

Age of Character: 20

Appearance: Tino has short blond hair and violet eyes, and is 170 cm- 5' 6" 1/2 ft- tall. He's a very clean person and the shortest of his family.

Personality: Tino is simplistic, gentle, soft spoken, and honest, as well seeming rather adult-like. He's very talkative and likes to think up jokes to lighten up the mood, even if they aren't funny. He enjoys giving presents to orphaned children on Christmas, feeling a sense of accomplishment as he gave them something that year. Likes to be called Dr. V, or Dr. Tino.

History: Most of Tino's family was born in Helsinki, Finland, but his mother had decided to move to America, hoping for a better life. His father had died before he was born and his mother wanted to start off anew, so she packed up and went to America. As soon as she settled into life there, it seemed that Tino wanted to pop out right then and there. She died giving birth to him and he was sent to foster care.
For thirteen years he was stuck in a foster care service, but soon was adopted. Tino had always been an avid studier and graduated high school early at the age of sixteen. He went to college, studying to be a doctor for mental patients. He wanted to help people, to give them a good life when he didn't have such a good one..

Position: Doctor

Reason for working here: Wants to help others so that they could continue their life like a normal person. So they can be seen as an actual person instead of some crazy lunatic.

Name of Character: Feliciano Vargas-Moretti
Age of Character: 23

Appearance:
Feliciano has short, reddish brown hair that is usually kept cut nicely in a rather common style. There is one exception to this neat appearance that ruins it a bit. On the left side of his head is an obnoxious little curl. No matter how hard he tries, it will never go down, so he has given up and grown to live with it. His eyes are an amber brown color, though they can be hard to see sometimes since he can have the appearance squinting half the time. This is because his eyes are a bit sensitive to bright lights so it is just a natural reaction. His face, despite his age, is round and boyish, and gives him the appearance of being a few years younger than his actual age. Feliciano has fair skin, not pale, but is far from being considered tan. Standing at 172 centimeters tall, his height is fairly average for a man. He is far from chubby and has a great metabolism for how much he eats, but he is a bit squishy in some places, not that he really cares. Still, he isn't out of shape, he just lacks any real distinctive muscles.

Personality:
Feliciano's personality is bubbly and loud, but he is extremely airheaded most of the time. He can come off as a bit eccentric to most, and many people have a hard time understanding him perfectly. The mixture of having a short attention span and a rather one tracked mind leaves him a bit unable to read the atmosphere. He is a socialble and a real people person. Much like Italian stereotypes, he loves flirting with girls despite the fact that he doesn't really know what to do with them once he gets them. Even if he is a flirt, he still gives off the impression of being very innocent. He is quite religious, and that can be an added factor to that appearance mixed with the fact that he is overall childish.

Sadly, one of his other greatest personality traits is his cowardice. He is a huge crybaby and gets worked up easily. It isn't too hard to intimidate him and make him panic. This is why he hates confrontations with other people and would prefer getting along peacefully. Creativity is something important to his heart, and he certainly isn't lacking it. Feliciano is very talented in the arts, especially drawing and painting.

Overall he can come off as a bit of an annoying person. If he likes you, it is likely personal space isn't an option; he clings and doesn't let go. Feliciano also tends to talk with lots of hand motions, and has a small verbal tic where he says "ve". It is a speech problem he always had, so it doesn't bother him really, but it can be irritating at first. Really though, he is just a big ball of fluff who is extremely friendly and loves people. He makes an excellent friend and though he might not be able to handle standing up for them physically, he can be a good listener.

History:
Though he was born into a rather wealthy family, that didn't mean his childhood would be the most amazing one in the world. Feliciano was born the same day as his twin brother, Lovino. Sadly before the two were very old, both parents died leaving the two boys under the care of their grandfather. He was an important CEO which helped bring in more money. Once again, they were left without a guardian when their grandfather passed away. There was no one to take in both boys and everyone was after the huge inheritance that each boy had to their name. It was no surprise that they were ripped apart from one another without much caring from the adults. Over time, the two rarely ever got to see each other anymore, and it felt like he never had a twin anymore, leaving him feeling very alone. It wasn't that he didn't like his new family, he just wanted his brother and grandfather back, and even his parents though he couldn't really remember them.

Feliciano's new family was always a bit tough on him, and at first it was a harsh comparison to the semi-carefree life he lived with his grandfather and Lovino. Since it was the money they were after, they didn't really take into consideration his feelings all too often. He spent a lot of time with his foster mother, who was always more caring and understanding than his foster father. Even so, he found himself in a big house rather lonely and doing chores all the time despite his young age. He gained a knack for making things spotless and even learned to cook when he was old enough. He was great at what was asked of him, but he was still lazy and didn't do things perfectly on occasion. Those were the occasions Feliciano didn't like. His foster father didn't really like children and had a temper with them, especially Feliciano. It didn't help that he had ADHD so he was more "irritating" to him. When Feliciano did something wrong, he could find himself locked in a broom closet for hours on end, of the occasional shove on the floor and get stepped on, among other things. His foster mother, as caring as she was, loved her husband and would let him do as he wished and would try to make it up to Feliciano later on.

By this time Feliciano had tried to shove out any memories of bad things in his past, and tried to keep on optimistic outlook on things. He never "forgot" that somewhere out there he had a brother named Lovino, but he pushed it to a safe place in the back of his mind. He was grateful that he had a big home to live in with people to watch him, but there were things he felt rude for complaining about. His little bit of happiness came into the home when he met a young boy who was staying with the neighbors. Feliciano had never been allowed to have any friends over the home because of his foster father's annoyances with them, but the neighbor boy could sneak over to play right in his own backyard and run off before anyone could yell. For years, it was a little bit of happy in his life that he needed on those days where he got yelled at or had a hard time with the chores of the day....until he left and never returned. Just like his mother and father, grandfather, and twin brother.

As he got older, Feliciano was still expected to do things around the house, but was also pushed harder in school than ever before. Though they were now even richer thanks to Feliciano's own hefty inheritance that he came with, his foster family wanted him to grow up educated and have a high standing job. This was the least of Feliciano's worries at his age. His real love was art, which seemed to be a family trait since his grandfather had loved it too. Not only did Feliciano love it, he excelled at it. Still, it wasn't considered a good job.

When Feliciano was 15, he was formally adopted by his foster family since he had been their son for ten years. Of course, he was happy to actually be wanted, but he still refused to refer to them as his real parents because it felt disrespectful to his real ones. Also not wanting to wipe his existance off the face of the earth, he chose not to take their full last name. Ever since that day, his name was Feliciano Vargas-Moretti, but he still uses his "old" name when introducing himself.

Eventually the time came for Feliciano to go away to college. He had his heart set on either becoming a chef or studying art. It wasn't good enough though to his family. Like most parents want, they told him to become a doctor. It was a bad suggestion in the first place due to more reasons than countable. He couldn't deal with that. After a long while of arguing, he gave up but on a sort of middle ground. He would attempt to be a different doctor, one for the mind. Feliciano still had no interest in the subject, but didn't want to be yelled at or hurt and felt as if he was doing them a favor in return for all the things they did for him. He tries really, but it isn't for him and he is a bit useless, seeming more odd himself than a good number of patients do.

Reason for working here: It wasn't exactly his choice, but he figured it would be more fun than being stuck in a classroom all the time. He wanted to have some fun if he was stuck doing things he didn't like forever.

Name of Character: Honda Kiku

Age of Character: 39

Appearance: Dr. Honda looks young for his age. He is a petite man, and as is normal for his race, does not show his age. Instead, he looks to be around 26, and most people are very surprised when they learn of his real age, it's information he does not give out unless asked. Dr. Honda does not seam opposing most of the time, he has a rounded, child-like face which makes him seem easy to step all over. His hair is clean cut, and straight, giving some clue to the bouts of OCD he often suffers from. Dr. Honda can often be found in his white lab coat, which despite all of his efforts still is far to large on him. Under that is usually a professional looking shirt and tie with plain, professional slacks. Dr. Honda has also been known to wear a pair of small, red glasses for reading. They can often be found hanging off of the left side breast pocket of his lab coat, or on his face. After a few close calls in the past, Dr. Honda has taken to wearing them when he is speaking one on one with patients.

Personality: Dr. Honda, upon first inspection, seems to be one of the easiest staff members of Global Asylum to get along with, and if someone is to follow the rules, make no disturbances, and work hard, then this is indeed the case. But there is also a much darker side to this coin.

Dr. Honda does not deal well with those breaking the rules or making problems, and has been known to shun, pick on, and abuse those that do not follow the proper procedures. The worst cases of this is often in regards to patients, for most of them are not able to leave on their own, and have no way of fighting his tactics without looking more insane that they already are. Despite the most sever of cases being in regards to patients, this treatment is not limited to patients. Dr. Honda has also been known to shun lower staff members, and usually those people do not last long in Global Asylum.

Dr. Honda can easily be your strongest ally – he has been known to go out of his way to make sure that his favorites are well taken care of – or your worst enemy.

History: Dr. Honda was born in Okinawa Japan, and spent his first 13 years of life there. The family was relatively happy, but when his mother was murdered, Kiku and his father uprooted, moving to Tokyo. At first life in Tokyo was good. It was a much livelier place than Okinawa had ever been, there didn't seem to be as many problems, and there were always things to do. Kiku was also the mysterious transfer student in his school, and was highly regarded, but this only lasted about a month, until the latest test scores came in.

Kiku was quickly regarded as the smartest person in class, and that ended up being his downfall. After that he was mercilessly teased, and he started to become more aloof and disconnected from the rest of the world. It never stopped him from achieving well in his studies, but Kiku never had anything to fall back on. His father was off living the life of a Japanese businessman, taking long hours, and when he was not, he was spending time with a mistress that he refused to marry.

Soon enough Kiku was excepted into the top Medical School in Japan, and moved from home. Father and son never much talked after that. Kiku worked very hard in his selected field, and graduated on time at the top of his class. He was hired in a large scale hospital in Japan and put to work but bullying remained a constant part of his life. Deciding that he was being paid far to little and was not appreciated, Dr. Honda left Japan, and applied for the position he currently holds at Global Asylum. He was hired and has been working there ever since. He has been there a total of 9 years.

Reason for working here: The pay, and his authority. He is very, very loyal to the Asylum.

Name of Character: Valentina Ramírez

Age of Character: 22

Appearance: She's a small woman with sinewy muscles and an hourglass figure, petite hands with well manicured fingers, and toes, and strong legs- this is because of dancing. Her hair has a dark, chooclate brown base with honey brown and sandy blonde streaks, thanks to the sun, of course, while her eyes are a deep, emerald green with a light, almost neon, green rim. Her skin brings out her eyes since it is such a drastic contrast. It is tanned to a nice light brown that spreads across her entire body. Weighs around 105 pounds and stands at the height of 5'2".

Personality: Valentina is a small, kind woman- that is, when she hasn't been woken up by a nightmare or when she's having one of her episodes. She tries to get along with others but when she sees something, or someone, she likes, she goes after them with a burning. Always one to get what she wants, she hates to lose, and when she loses, it isn't a pretty sight.

History: When Val was four, her house caught aflame, killing both of her parents and burning down every belonging she had ever known. Ever since that night, she had dreams of fire. Houses burning down, campfires, fire dancers, fire blowers. Nightmares that would have her waking up very alert, paranoid, and sweating. Everything revolved around fire. She went from foster home, to foster home, being put on lockdown when she was eight for trying to kill herself because one nigtmare got to out of hand, until a couple took her in and didn't return her like some gift. Still, she didn't trust them. They were out to get her and she knew it.

Her foster parents started to take her to a therapist to control her need to set things aflame, even thought it wasn't her fault, ever since she tried to burn the hair off of their cat, Fluffy- the voice told her to, wasn't her fault. Every Wednesday, she was to be taken to the therapist and go through the usual routine; what her dreams were- she never had dreams because she barely slept- how were her parents, did she make any new friends. The usual. Very soon, she got bored and stopped going, causing the voice to start to come back tenfold. She had been controlling herself only for her 'sister', who was pregnant and needed her support..

She went out almost every night before she found out about her 'sister' being pregnant, and she would have sex with the first male- or female- she saw. It was mostly male, but sometimes, her taste was curved for that beautiful, soft, female flesh. Because of her paranoia, though, she was always the one in control, she would never let the other person try and dominate her, give them a chance to hurt her.

She gambled, but she didn't have an addiction, dabbled with drugs, and she would just play poker with some people when a voice told her to start a fire and then she'd be fine.'. But, soon after, the voice kept telling her to start one and it wouldn't stop..

The voice wanted her to start another fire. A big one. One that would spread throughout the entire forest, consuming everything in it's path and giving Valentina the wonderful feeling of burning. As she watched the flames consume more than half of the forest.. She was caught and charged for arson until he was found to be guilty due to psychological reasons. The court sent her to an asylum, where he would stay until deemed 'able to merge into society again'.

Mental disorder: Paranoid personality disorder, nightmare disorder, nymphomania, mild schizophrenia, and insomnia.

Admittance: Admitted when she was 19 by the court.

Name of Character: Andrea Ojeda Jaramillo

Age of Character: 27

Appearance: A black-haired woman of average height and a build slightly stronger than most. She usually keeps her hair tied back in a bun, ponytail, or braid. She wears glasses for reading, but prefers not to hide her bright green eyes behind them when she’s working with patients. Her clothes are usually simple and comfortable, and she sometimes wears heels to make herself more imposing. Her skin is slightly tanned, with a few freckles dotting her neck and arms. Other people have described her as beautiful, but she considers her looks nothing special.

Personality: Generally pleasant and friendly, she has a bad temper that can be ignited if the right buttons are pressed. She refuses to let anyone use or disrespect her. Her stubbornness and strong will occasionally got her in trouble as an intern, but now are part of her strength in this profession. She is still rather inexperienced, but Andrea learns quickly, even if she doesn’t usually take the time to assess a situation before acting. She is sometimes playfully sarcastic and is not above using teasing to keep her patients in check, even though some might argue it is immature and unprofessional. She likes being in control and maintaining the upper hand. Her mischievousness is balanced out by her strong sense of leadership. Andrea refuses to tolerate any unruly behavior and will not hesitate to put her patients in their place if they act out of line.

History: Andrea studied medicine for many years in her home country, Ecuador. She also took intense English courses in the hopes that she would be able to find employment in the United States and build a better life for family members living in poverty. In order to accomplish this and keep her generous scholarships, Andrea worked very hard day and night, often exhausting herself and never having much time for anything like dating or romance. She moved to the United States at the age of 25 and worked as an intern there before making quick progress and being hired as a doctor at the Global Asylum. She was chosen for her ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients and also to lead group sessions among all patients of different backgrounds.

Position: Doctor
Reason for working here: She really enjoys international environments since she feels like she can relate to other immigrants easily. She’s sending a generous amount of the money she’s earning back to her family, keeping only enough to live on comfortably.

Name of Character: Alfred F. Jones
Age of Character: 19
Appearance: Standing tall, Alfred has broad shoulders, and a sturdy build. His hair is short and golden blond, eyes a pretty sky blue behind the lenses of his glasses, and his skin almost perfectly tanned year round. Beneath his clothes, though, he's frighteningly thin, and there's a sickly paleness hiding beneath his tanned skin. Under his shirts and layers, Alfred's ribs poke out, and his stomach is almost caved in.
Personality: Despite everything, Alfred is a very cheerful guy. He's easily excitable, and has a rather black&white sense of good and bad. He tends to come off as rather flighty and a bit ditzy, most people would easily associate him with 'dumb blond' jokes, but he's really very intelligent. Quick to stand up for the victim, he's a bit out of place where the people he shares status with could be either good guys or bad guys.

History: Alfred has had a pretty normal childhood. His parents were distant with each other, but they were always affectionate with him. He had a few friends here and there, and got along pretty well with everyone he met.

In Middle school,Alfred decided to try out for the wrestling team. To get on the team, he had to lose weight, so he could fit in the right division. In the end, he didn't make it on the team, though he kept watching his weight. He became obsessed with it.

Right before his Freshman year started, his parents spilt up. He moved in with his mother, but the stress of their rocky divorce, added with a new school setting, was too much for Alfred to handle. Three weeks into school, he was admitted to a hospital for nutrition deficiency, and dehydration. It was the first time anyone else noticed that behind his clothes, he was thin as a rail.

Now, just out of high school, Alfred should be off to college. Instead, due to his up and down weight, his insistence that he needs to binge or just not eat, he's been admitted to the Global Asylum by his parents, and has gone in mostly willing.

He wants to be better. He really does.
